Powertrain
A lift truck has to be tough enough to last for numerous hours of heavy operation in extreme settings. These machines have to be able to move loads fast and efficiently while still being ergonomic to the operator. The rugged, dependable Yale powertrain provides superior durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer controlled transmission and engine and extremely robust gears and shafts. The transmission, engine, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated so as to reduce noise and vibration in the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The lift trucks electrical system is responsible for linking the truck's major nerve centers. Hence, the electrical system within the lift truck must be really reliable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication needed to be able to control truck functionality.

Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and reduces electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved dependability and remarkable serviceability.

Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the forklift's "muscles". They provide the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Some of these parts comprise: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned in order to prolong part life by lessening exposure to heat sources.

Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme dependability and are known for withstanding harsh working conditions and coming out on top. These machinery have been constructed in such a precise manner that attention to detail has been considered so as to keep the operator as comfortable as possible.
